How do I convert BEP-20 to ERC-20?

There is no conversion. BEP-20 is the token on BNB Smart Chain, ERC-20 the token on Ethereum, and they are separate balances. A bridge or an exchange moves value between them; both are priced above.

Why is this direction more expensive than the reverse?

Because the provider has to pay for a transaction on Ethereum to deliver your funds, and that cost moves with Ethereum gas. The same pair in reverse is usually cheaper.

Can I use the same address on both networks?

The same string is valid on both, which is convenient and dangerous in equal measure. What matters is the network chosen when sending; the address alone proves nothing.

What will I need on Ethereum?

ETH for any transaction you make there afterwards. The fee in the table covers delivery, not your next move.
